Jayme Odgers (paintings)
Born in Butte, Montana, Jayme Odgers graduated from LA’s Art Center School with a Bachelors degree in Art with Great Distinction in 1962, where he was schooled in graphic design. He considers himself self-taught in fine art. In 1983, Jayme was selected along with fourteen other ‘world class artists’ including David Hockney, Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, and John Baldessari, to do an official poster of the 1984 Olympic Games, the XXIIIrd Olympiad, held in Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited at numerous museums throughout the U.S. while numerous books and articles have included Odgers’ work as well.
